Okay, so regarding the last two episodes (well, actually just the finale) I have some thoughts based on some spoilers I’ve been reading.

But I have been so out of the loop in this fandom, since TVD really isn’t my big one anymore. But I stil really want to know what you guys think!

Your thoughts are interesting, because I too am convinced that Damon will be the one to die (for Stefan and Elena, because they are the two people he loves most, not just in the world, but ever in his existence), but I never thought about them bringing him back as human! I've been longing for this story for ages, and almost wrote a fic about once, if you remember, LOL ( ... )

Yes, I do remember that story! It was super good too. Maybe if this DOES happen, you will get instpiration to do something like that again (*crosses fingers*)

I think that maybe the writers would find away out of have to have Damon rapidly age and die like Katherine. Maybe since it's different circumstances of how he became human again and the fact that someone will have to actually bring him back from the dead after the fact. I mean, I can't see Elena and Stefan doing whatever they can to bring Damon back to life if all he's going to get is a couple months to watch himself waste away. Damon would be so pissed, lol.

Maybe maybe not. I expected what happened, honestly. When I said I didn't think Stefan would die, I meant I didn't think that he would be dead by the end of the season. I still fully believe that he will be alive next episode. There is a good chance that Damon would be the reason for it. Whatever the consequences are however, have yet to be seen. And stand by my theory. specially Elena's line about her blood being able to literally destroy Damon (and Stefan saying that she can't take all the credit, because his would too). I just see it as a metaphore for whatever he is gonna do to protect them, will ultimately destroy him.

I don't even know if that last paragraph made sense. I am running on zero sleep, so my brain is kinda funky.

yeah, the definitely hinted all damn season. I'm still not entirely happy with how they handled his story arc this season, but at least we got the right ending. I guess I am just more compelled by human!Damon rather than human!Stefan because Stefan actually wants to be human and I can see him adjusting to it easier. I think human!Stefan would be lovely for a series finale, though.

Well, you kind of got your wish, if only for a little bit.

At least with Bonnie, she is pretty much on the same boat with Damon. SO if he is coming back, she will (hopefully) too.
