Totally. Feministing.com has done a good job on the Chris Matthews sexism watch. You know he's thinking about running for the PA Senate seat (as a Dem) that Arlen Specter might retire in 2010?

Just kidding.

There was a cover story on him and his style of punditry in the New York Times Magazine a few months ago. I usually read those, but I didn't find him interesting enough to do more than skim.

He probably tries to do that with just about everyone.

I'd rather watch rocks grow.

Here's a serious question: within the last two years I've come to realize that a lot of things the shitty things women in my life have done are common female behaviors. My newfound misogyny has made me much more forgiving of individual women. Is that good or bad? Should I demand higher standards, or should I just accept certain shit as "the default nature of the beast" (cultural or biological, it doesn't matter so much)?
