Hey, a post! And it's only been 2 months since the last. Good work, Shapka. Granted--I did spend one of those months in the hospital. And I spent the other of those months in a self-imposed lj blackout. But I think I'm willing to dip my toe again

I have treatment-resistant major depression and ECT takes a while to start having an effect. But, hey, at least I'm doing a bit better now!!

I'll admit, I'm not up on the terminology, so I only have a vague idea of what that means. But I take it that you're starting to feel better now, so that's good! I never post on LiveJournal anymore either, and I don't have anything like a hospital visit for an excuse. Just plain unadulterated laziness on my part. ;-) I'm too lazy even to twitter...

But now that I have commented on the entry you were industrious enough to post, you can know that I am still here!

I have severe depression and every med I've been on eventually stops working, so I get hospitalized. I've discovered that ECT is like a miracle for me. It's really helped--I was stable and hospital-free for over a year after I had it last!
