OMG, I didn't even know I needed a ShirotaxTaiga fic until now. I've searched before and I'm pretty sure yours is the first that's in English. T^T

But, gosh. Yes, Taiga seems to have taken on Rudolph as a part of him which seems to stay even after it's over. And this makes so much sense! Shirota is beautiful as Death, tempting, and powerful. And there totally needs to be more fic for this! Great work!

Yeah I keep seeing links on twitter to Elisabeth related fics but they're locked/not English :(

In the end I gave up waiting and wrote my own >_< Hopefully it won't remain the only one!

OH. MY. GOD.

I loved it, I loved everything about it, I loved the idea, I love it so much *_____* The way you wrote it was amazing, and I can totally understand the way Taiga feels about Rudolph because he truly seems like he feels that way in real life too. And Shirota sdfghjkjhgfdfghjk I am so glad he decided to help him that way ;)

We need more ShirotaxTaiga or DeathxRudolph fics so if you ever come up with anything else, please do write it!

Thank you so much!! I'm really happy that you liked it. Haha, yeah Taiga can seem pretty sad and sullen at times (why is he so perfect for this kind of character) and Shirota dressed/acting as death was pretty damn mesmerising. Honestly Shirota is one of those people that always really irritated me, but with this whole Elisabeth thing I'm truly repentant for my previous thoughts of him. He seems like an awesome guy :)

There really does need to be more of this kind of fic...hopefully someone else will write something too!! If not I may have to resort to writing more myself >_<

I'm a huge Rudolph/Death shipper so, hey, I just couldn't resist when I saw this. And I don't regret reading it, not at all. There are so few (or none ?) Taiga/Shirota fics so I just thought that I'd be glad with anything, but

I can't help shipping Rudolph/Death or Taiga/Shirota, there's just something about them >_< And I've been waiting for so long, hoping somebody would write something about them but aside from one drabble, everything has been in another language!!

I'm flattered by your comment ♥ I'm really happy that you felt like it had a good balance and that the weird half transitioning feelings Taiga is having weren't off-putting! I actually wanted to have more of Death/Shirota's feelings in there, but Death at least is a very complicated and yet vague character...hmmm...maybe that's something to think about >_<

I've always loved that expression too and as a title it is pretty fitting...the only thing that bugs me about it is that it's French and it would have been more perfect if there were a similar name for it in German or Hungarian (so it would tie in with the play) but from my research I couldn't find one! I think it works well enough as it is at least >_<

You know how I will feel this summer when I sit in the theatre and watch Death and Rudolph??? It was hard enough to not start squealing before, through your fic I will NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO NOT GO CRAZY OVER THOSE TWO *____*

I loved it how Shirota and Taiga were changing into Death and Rudolph, just with the change of clothes and names the whole atmosphere changed! It wasn't just Taiga who felt like on stage ;)

Your comment makes me really happy, and really jealous because it seems you're going to see this beautiful masterpiece of a couple in action (do you know what date you'll see it/who will be performing/how jealous I am of you?)

It's one of my weaknesses when characters with severe emotional plotlines get slightly overlooked, I feel like I need to fill in those gaps >_< I love the whole Taiga/Death thing, I'm just hoping with the 2016 leg of the tour there'll be more fic out there >_<

I am actually planning to watch Inoue-Taiga this year, bc I saw Shirota-Taiga and Inoue-Furakawa already! But I guess in the end I can't escape the temptation to watch Shirota-Taiga again ^///^

I was thinking about writing a fic about them, but I somehow couldn't find a fitting storyline at that time and then I found your fic and I was soooo happy with that one that I didn't feel the need to write one anymore XD
