A/N -- WHOOT. Writer's block broken! Ugh. That had to be the worst feeling in the world. However, something awesome came from it, and I'm not telling. <3
Something else awesome came from it, but you'll hate it. I totally want to write Chyan now. Not like half of you know what that is. And if you do... Eheh. <333

Anyway, ficficfic, and hope you liiike~

“What’s with that Sora kid?”

Riku froze and shortened his step, keeping his eyes wide and ears open as he willed his footsteps to become quieter. He was simply walking down the street to do some errands for his mom when the blitzball team (minus Tidus) popped out of an alleyway and began to walk in front of him, unbeknownst to his existence.

“Yeah,” another one, Bickerson (was it really Bickerson? Riku wasn’t sure), snickered, shaking his head. “I mean, he’s always so happy. Makes you want to…”

“Hurt him?” The one who spoke first, Graav, grinned, punching his fist into his other hand. “He acts like he knows everything - like he’s some kinda fucking superhero, when he’s only a whiny crybaby from Destiny Islands who should get beaten up for his stupid smiles.”

Riku was debating with himself whether he should rip their testicles off and make them bleed to death, or simply chop their heads off, when a third blitzball player, Abus, added, “Well, it’s pretty obvious that even if he’s with that Kairi chick, his weird ass best friend is getting some from the side.”

Graav let out a cruel laugh. “Yeah! I mean, he always hovers around them like some kind of stalker. Makes you wonder what they’re doing together.”

Riku stopped short, crashing into the older lady who was slowly walking behind him. As he attempted to apologize, the group of blitzball players turned around and smirked at him. After helping the old lady walk away, Riku narrowed his eyes at the group, only to their amusement.

“Aw, what’s the little freak going to do?” Bickerson cooed before stepping up to Riku. “I mean, you have to be a freak. That hair color isn’t found in nature-”

Before he could finish his statement, Bickerson went flying through the air and landed with a hard thud on the other side of the road. Riku was pissed, but he certainly hoped his face didn’t betray his emotion as he faced the others. “Who’s next?” he asked calmly, cracking his knuckles to show his strength.

The ball players all exchanged glances before running away; Bickerson glared at him and gave him a look that said that Riku would pay before jumping to his feet and running after them.

Riku exhaled and gave himself a nervous grin. At least they had fallen for it - that first hit was a fluke. Sure, he could wield a Keyblade, but hand-to-hand combat? Not so much.
He turned around and headed back home. He could certainly deal with the errands for his mom tomorrow. But he really didn’t want to run into the blitzball players again.

If they said one more thing about Sora or his (apparent) infatuation with Sora, he would be forced to hurt them far more than was legal.
