O man, I am loving the thick masses of fur and the depth of color. it gives it a kind of iridescent look, and I envy how you can push those saturated blues and greens right next to reds. Do you use a certain brush to get that kind of minute detail in the fur?

I actually have several layers going on: a base painting layer, a "color balance" adjustment layer, a texture layer of painted textures [might be 2 or 3 layers here some in color and some in bw], and a "curves" adjustment layer. I've been using the standard photoshop brush with varying opacities, 100% flow and varying hardness. Hope that helps!
