"To be is to do"--Socrates. "To do is to be"--Jean-Paul Sartre. "Do be do be do"--Frank Sinatra.

Ugh I need to get off my fat ass and do something with myself.

Lots of companies are willing to let people go off and do training if they know that they'll be coming back afterwards, it means the get to cherry pick the best students. You might find that they actually like the idea of getting an early contract with someone who is going to such a well known grad school.

also, the life drawings look awesome, especially the first and last ones. I love how you did the hair on the first, it really gives it volume without going into too much detail. Was it watercolour or ink? Also, don't know where they got the model for the last one, but it's pretty awesome that they can get weird creatures like that to sit still long enough for a life drawing session ;)

Thankee mas! :) My life drawing teacher is superfreaky and makes us measure distances and angles with CLEAR GRAPH RULERS and our pencil- holy crap, it's the most asinine thing ever. She'll come over and measure our drawings against her own measurements and be like, "It's wrong. It's all wrong." ;_; (But besides my complaints of her teaching style, working up from the lowest common denominator apparently does work...) Anyway, yes, the first one is in india inks ( ... )

I'm gonna have to try that on saturday then when I go to life drawing. I've been getting kinda bored since it's the same thing I've been doing every week pretty much (I miss the quick poses ;.;), so this should make a nice change.

And yeah, from the classes I've been in for life drawing teaching the lowest common denominator is pretty much the standard (as it is in most teaching). Plus there's the fact that life drawing is one of the few fine arts classes where they teach draughtsmanship, so they tend to over emphasize it sometimes

And ouch on the car stuff. I'm lucky that I don't need one, petrol costs a fortune over here, but I've seen how much it costs some of my friends and I don't know how someone at college can afford it. Still, maybe apple will let you work part-time or something :)

Yea. I gots junk in the trunk :| Well no, my stomach is my prime problem area, heehee. No, Thuy isn't the only model I draw nude. The other guy (who isn't Bobby...Idk his name) is also nude but his junk isn't showing. I just draw a lot more males and when Thuy came to model I was like "yay a girl" just because it was something different.

Haha, no I'm not going to take the Primo gig. I'll be published as being on both sides of the camera but right now taking the picture is more important to me than being in the picture! ;)
