Oh, apologies! I meant open to readers. >.<; It's currently just a project Tai and I are working through, so we're leaving it between us. I'm so sorry, I should have been clearer!
Oh wow! This is amazing and you guys seemed to be doing a great job! How come you've imposed yourselves a deadline?
Also, just how on earth did you map out Hogwarts castle... do the books really give you so much detail or was it JKR's sketch that mostly helped you out? Sorry bout all the questions, but I'm quite curious since I always thought it was impossible to map it out and not even the Lexicon had done it...
Anyway good luck and I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress! :D
Weeeeeeeeeeell let's just say the current plans for the map are an ENORMOUS deviation from the original plans. It's a long story. -_-;
With difficulty. :D JKR's sketch is actually mostly of the surrounding area - Hogwarts itself is basically represented only as a square. The shape of the castle on this map is inspired by a) existing castles and b) logic (like purpose and development). The books themselves give us the locations of certain rooms and so forth, but not really an overall layout - that was a creative element we introduced. And not at all, I'm happy to answer questions!
