Okay, here's my bizarre story about this event:
solsticezero and I made plans a million years ago to go to a David Levithan/John Green signing in Manhattan that day. The kid in front of us at the signing turned to us not long after we sit down because he heard us talking about Doctor Who.

"Are you guys Who fans?" he asked. We nodded. "My friend Jenny is supposed to be here and she's not because she's sitting next to Matt Smith right now."

We spent a couple minutes writhing with jealousy.

(But it's okay, because I actually met and spoke with David that night, so it was totes worth it.)
