bullet points!

• For the first (and possibly only time) I can say that I am a week ahead in all of my law school readings. GO ME! *g*

• I finished my tw_bigbang. And by finish I mean hit 17k with two scenes left. One of which is smut, the other the last plot twist. I feel so accomplished ( Read more... )

Hey! You should totally use the money for a London trip instead!

My job is done.

No wait! I got all my TW novels through http://www.bookdepository.co.uk and they now have available http://www.bookdepository.com/ (which I'm ordering the next set from). Cheap than Amazon + comes out sooner than the US releases + free shipping? Hell yes. Haven't looked to see if they'll have the latest JB yet, but as far as the novels, I'd say go there!

NOW job done!

XD Thank you sweetie. :^P

Yes, yes it is done.

Oooh. I'll have to look into them. I usually get mine from B&N and they give a nice discount + free shipping. I haven't read the last three because I'm savouring the Ianto-ness. *nods* But I'll definitely look there for JB! ♥

You're welcome! Found out about that site through the good ol' tw community.

Do some price comparing, then! I'm not sure what's the absolute cheapest source for them.

Iaaaaantooooooo.

Being able to see John in La Cage would make my decade. Unfortunately, poor, and Southern Hemisphere.

John has better legs than most people. And drag queens have the best legs in the world. Seriously, I've worked with some, and it's ridiculous. Nobody should look that good in hot pants and stilettos after pulling an all nighter at a dance club.

I know. It would make mine too. But unless I win the lottery between then and now, not happening. Because I don't think my loans are intending for me to jet across the pond, right? Right.

He really does. I swear it's all the years of dancing and such for theatre. Honestly? What I love about John in these shots is that he doesn't look feminine in drag. Which a lot of my friends that do drag look better in drag than out of. John, on the other hand........ ahem. *shifty-shifty*

I still think he looks gorgeous. :D

That shot with the marigolds and the kimono is just perfect.

The 2nd shot just proves to me that my theory that John would make an awesome Edna in Hairspray (the REAL musical, not that abortion with John Travolta) was dead on.

No, you can't go to London for Thanksgiving since I'll be helping to run Chicago TARDIS. I knew who the guest was in advance but couldn't tell you outright. Which is why I said 'someone who's never attended a con before'.

I can tell you they've been trying to get John for the past 4 years and the stars are just never in alignment, mostly due to his work commitments, but not through lack of trying on the Con Comms part. (And god knows they would do a much better job than that Torchsong mess...)

Srsly. Revival in NYC with our leading man. Stat.

:^P I say to you. And the reason I honestly thought it was John was a friend of mine had talked to one of the coordinators at D*C and he, without naming names, gave her the hints of who the 'surprise guest' was going to be -- and his hints led right to John.

If it hadn't closed, I'd have been on the phone to the producers with my suggestions. (Not a joke, my dad was an investor...)

Coordinator for what CT? If so, I suspect I know who it was and he's always talking bigger than he can actually deliver. I haven't heard anything even remotely suggesting that John was ever a serious consideration (mainly due to his work schedule -- he's doing his annual panto around that time for a start). However, there are definite signs there may be a New York TARDIS this coming Memorial Day, so who knows. It's not like John doesn't come to NY a lot too. (I am going to try to get involved with NYT if it happens. I just have to talk to People In Charge in November...)
