I wish I could say more, but I need to pack up to move back home for the next couple weeks during the interim period between summer and fall semesters here at uni.

OMG that's fucking insane.

I think I would have refused ever to do anything more at the playhouse unless they swear never to rent a fucking OrchExtra ever again. Don't they remember the strike on Broadway?

I mean, if they're going to do that, why don't they just record the singers as well?

Or, better, record one performance and play it several times?

Aw, hell, why don't they just show the movie!

I am against mechanized orchestras in any way, shape, or form . . . well, okay, when my cousin danced the Nutcracker they played a CD, but I know that a tiny dance troupe in Podunk, MI couldn't afford an orchestra. Your Playhouse can, and does. Why couldn't they find more percussionists? I mean, seriously.

I'll go find you on IJ, and probably start one just to be able to see your stuff. I may find myself moving to a self-host blog thing (oh, having a computer-nerd boyfriend). Anyway, good luck. *hugs*
