Haha, I know I've waited quite a bit longer for Mio things! But yeah, her stuff was always the best. The quality, fit, and style was just so perfect! I really miss her work. :(

I am! Two of my non-doll friends (a married couple) are coming with me, and we're making a vacation out of it. I do believe the convention hotel is sold out already, but the convention itself is not. They have announced that the last day to buy a 3-day pass is June 30. That's tough that you can't figure out if you're going until after then! The site says tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, though I know one girl on DoA did manage to get her pass transferred once she found out she couldn't go, and had someone else to take it over for her. I don't know if they'll be less lenient after the sign-up time or not. >_<

Crap, that sucks about the June 30 cut-off . . . because I won't know anything until after the hearing. *sigh*

I'll have to write the organizers to see whether they might still be willing to sell an extra ticket in mid-July -- seems like the timing may just not work out for me.

Thanks for letting me know about the cut-of, though (I haven't been reading much of the Dollism-related news, because I've been so depressed about not being able to go) . . . at least, if they make it a firm deadline, I'll know one way or the other, and won't still be hoping for it.

With the marketplace expanding literally every day, selling dolls is tougher than ever now unfortunately. Unless the doll is very sought out, it's quite difficult to get back whatever you originally spent. :\ Fun for bargain hunters, but not for sellers.

In the meantime, purring kitties do an excellent job keeping cares away! n_n
