I'm back from Miami. u_u

Here, have two pictures. I have a load more to edit from my visit to the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens.

I love peacocks, they're so pretty! It's also nice to see pics of grass, as it's snowing and 20 degrees here. :(

They are very pretty! And there were sooooo many of them strutting around the grounds. One afternoon, there were at least 4 (2 peacocks & 2 peahens) on the top of the building where we met everyday for our assignments, with one of the males all showing off and doing his little "Look at me, I'm awesome" dance. X3 I didn't have my camera with me for that one, alas. :'< But it was always fun to see them walking around, except when they'd get in front of my truck and we'd have to get out and shoo them away so I could drive down the road. ^^;

And, yikes on that weather! Though it may have been a bit too warm down in Miami, really. Lows in the upper 60s, highs in the 80s, it didn't feel like christmastime at all! O:
