if i ever stop, i think i'll have to hide in fear of the angry mobs that would come knocking at my door ;-) (that said, someone please tell me when these start sucking / getting annoying. i'd rather quit while i'm ahead. but not yet....)

Oh my God, so much love for this verse! The first one totally broke my heart, but it was so familiar in the terrible ache about losing track of what real happiness is, about realising that somewhere down the road something got broken and not having a clue about how to fix it.
I really love this family, their heartache, how at first glance Zach is the asshole, but you know that is not just 1 person's fault. I love that even in between pain and regrets and hurt they both try so hard for their kids' sake.

This will stay with me for a long, long time.

I'm actually tearing up.

aww, i didn't mean to make you tear up (or maybe i did?) ;-)

have i mentioned that i love your comments and insights about this 'verse? two things in particular that you mentioned - you know that is not just 1 person's fault and they both try so hard for their kids' sake have been so important to me in writing this whole story, and i'm so glad that it's coming through and is believable and real and something that people are observing and enjoying and commenting on.
