Okay so I feel... floaty after this. I can't really describe this feeling accurately but I just feel like I'm being pulled it two different directions. The tender care their relationship is built on and yet the hurt that Zach has to go to to please. Your description of the first time Zach had sex was so visceral and real, and the hurt was so good.

I also love the way you described Zach and Chris' first sexual encounter. Zach just accepting that this is the way it's going to be, but Chris is just mad, not wanting to hurt Zach and willing to do anything to make it better for him.

The push and pull of their relationship and the compromise they make for each other is just so heart wrenching and adorable.

This is brilliant and captivating and real. <33

Also, I'm smelling (LOL) a sequel for this elusive armpit sex. Me gusta.

This seemed so real, and what I would imagine the majority, or at least a good proportion, of gay relationships are like somehow (not that I'm in any way an expert or know any actual statistics, just my instinctive feeling about it). Aw I love that Zach loves Chris so much to be willing to go through it for him, and Chris wanting to make it up to him in other ways.

And I second the call for an armpit sex sequel!

what I would imagine the majority, or at least a good proportion, of gay relationships are like somehow - and straight ones, too, really, i think. i'm glad the realness came across, as well as the sappy love that i was going for ;-) thanks for the comment!!!

Okay, so this is pretty much literally the fic I have been searching for My whole fandom life, okay? (In fact, it's probably two of them)

A) the fic about the gay guy who doesn't like penetrative sex (which happens all the time in real life, but never in fic, and I half blame Minotaur for that

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY

B) ALL OF THE TIME in fic, whenever the guy who doesn't normally/ever bottom, when he finally does it's all awesome and sexy and he ends up loving it, and just... no.

BUT THIS FIC. I think I even posted a request on the kink meme forever ago for bottoming that doesn't end up being trancendent, AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAD IN MIND.

That whole comment was probably far too effusive. BUT THIS IS SO GOOD SO I DON'T CARE.
