I've been trying to book the train tickets for acropetal's and my trip to England in August. The play was magnificent! Everything, the music, the scenery, the costumes, the acting, the dramaturgy... Magical. Such a collection of talent, the Stinnerbom clan! If you like folk music at all, try to catch it, it's on tour now, and Västanå Teater don't go on tour all that often ( Read more... )

Tonight I've been to see Blood Brothers by Willy Russell at the City Theatre. The school got tickets really cheap, and our seats were excellent. It was a Swedish translation of the musical, of course, but the cast were good and I enjoyed it.

And we've booked B&B for that night in Stratford, too. Gosh, I'm being so prudent.

And I've been doing lots of maths. (The Big Test is next Thursday.)

It seems like a continuing trend that I try to balance my sorry lack of theatre-going with some extreme counteraction, like going to England to see famous people star in (famous) plays.
