I was waiting for you to come online but I didn't see you. :( I wanted to apologize for what I said on Friday, it was a mean and stupid comment and I deserved you angry at me. :( I was tired and cranky from the party and the entire day spent getting portfolio reviews, as well as the Looming Doom of Unemployment.

And why not make her multi-racial?

I'm sorry I was nasty also ^^;; I was actually on and invisible earlier, but wasn't sure about IMing you because I was pretty vicious with my parting IM on Friday. Apologies accepted and we're good all-around, then?

As for making her multi-racial, I agree that would be a feasible plan, only the main thing is that her ethnicity probably won't come up at all in the comic - it'll be shown by facial features, skin color, and dress. And while it would be nice to keep her white, because then I won't have to change her character design (or bother shading her skin), I don't want to step on anyone's toes if I ever get around to drawing the comic. See, now if I was anything other than white I could easily have a white main character, or even a main character of the same ethnicity as myself, and no one would complain. Or if they did, they'd shut up as soon as I pointed out that I wasn't white. Oh, you silly universe...

Yesh, all good all around :D *HUG* I'm coming home again next weekend to take advantage of the fact Mom has two ovens so I can make a bunch of cookies for work. :D

Well, in the end I think you should just do what's best for you and for the story. I don't think people are going to complain about what race she is in the end, after all, no one really complains about the fact that Japanese people in anime have multi-colored hair and eyes right? :D
