Leverage brought me so many good things and so many firsts. I joined my first land comm in the Leverage fandom, I took part in my first reverse bang, my first exchange. I made so many friends (you know who you are) who have done so much for me and over the last few months have been invaluable. It helped bring me closer to two of my rl friends, ishildemelpomenethemis

Yeah, the news came out yesterday. Last episode will be on Christmas Day.

It's just sad, really, because the show represents a lot of things for a lot of people but I guess those people will still remain friends etc once it ends.

And sweetheart just because it's cancelled doesn't mean we're going away. You've been a big part of my life, even though lately I haven't been around because of being in the hospital so much, but you are on mind all the time and I miss our emails. *hugs*

And yeah, I know - it's just weird to know there won't be new episodes etc, you know?

On the bright side, I'm still friends with people that I met through West Wing and LOST, and the West Wing people I've been friends with like, 10 years.

Just because the show is ending, doesn't mean all of us will stop being friends.

SIGH. I feel like I just met all of you! One year is DEFINITELY not enough time with this show.

Oh yeah, definitely - we'll stay friends! It's just really sad that we won't be able to squee over new episodes together!

Still hoping some other network will want to pick it up because it still has so much left it could do.

Found that out this morning :( I'm so disappointed, to have kept us hoping for so long and then right before Christmas they decide to tell us? I'm really bitter about that, they so could have timed it better.

I'm still holding out hope that another network will pick it up, I don't think the team is quite done saving the world just yet :)

BTW, I'm still working on that fic, just had a long day today :)

Yeah, I think the timing is definitely sucky - especially for the cast and crew, losing their jobs this close to Christmas.

Keeping my fingers crossed for another network because, yeah, Leverage still has plenty of good seasons left in it :)
