“Bitch.”
“Jerk.”
The insults were said with an air of familiarity and affection. Adam wondered just how long they’d bickered by trading those words for and felt another stab of anger at what his Dad had done. He was never going to be able to have that sort of familiarity, no matter how close he might end up being to Sam and Dean. And, he realised with a jolt, he did want to get to know them, to be their brother.
