Just another post that I wrote for you (anyone get the reference?)

Nov 17, 2011 12:14

I have a mock exam tomorrow so I've spent the morning revising; going to have a look at some practice questions after lunch and then leave it at that because it's a mock and I have seminar prep to do, as well as prep for Brownies tonight, as well as needing to have some sort of a break. It's strange because everyone I spoke to was all 'uni is so ( Read more... )

Good luck for the mock :) and the real one too I guess lol
Hm, I think I agree with the A-Level thing but then again I don't have as many hours in class now I'm at uni than I did in sixth form so maybe that's what they mean by easier but I doubt it, it's not easier

I didn't know you had signed up for Big Bang! (Part of my absence, I'm sorry) good luck with it :) and I'm happy to help if you need ideas or anything ;)

Thank you - I managed to get a decent-ish amount of revision done today so I should be okay. The real one is in January so I have a lot longer to prepare and I should have more of an idea after this one of what they're expecting from us.

Yeah, it's less contact hours but a lot more hours working outside of that, I think.

I haven't signed up yet so there's no need to apologise! Sign-ups are in January - I'm just starting to plan ahead now because I know I'm definitely taking part so I need to get my writing list cleared a little bit :) I will definitely let you know if I need help!

Also, it's so awesome to have you around more again - I missed you!

Oh good :) which subject is the exam in?

Oh yeah, it's definitely a lot more work you have to do yourself, which actually makes it harder because if you don't have the motivation then nothing gets done. Clearly the people who say it's easier did a really easy course or they just never went lol

I forgot it was January, silly me. I signed up for the 2010 one and it was fun and I wanted to do it again but I just didn't have an idea, plus it's been months since I'd last read a fic, let alone write one. That's another thing I want to get back into; fic!!

I missed you too <3 thank you

History - it's about the Americas.

I'm sure you'll get back into fic soon - it's easier to do things when they're fun :D

Thank you - I think I should be okay.

Yeah, I think you're right. I want to do well so I'm working harder in comparison to some people, I guess. And the reading is so much more - even just articles for seminars etc!

They do :D I'm really pretty excited! I actually have a social life now - it's weird ;)

Yeah, I'm finding that there is a LOT of reading (I'm doing History and English Lit, by the way). Thank you!

I'm really excited about Jason Manns!

Thank you - I never, ever thought I would be able to do a big bang but then I did and I've kind of taken to it. Eek, self-reccing! Okay, well my masterpost is at the top of my journal if you want to go looking for something specific that you like. You said you liked hurt!Dean fics, right? I'm pretty proud of this one and if you want something a bit longer this one was one of the first challenge fics I did and has some great art by lightthesparks too.

I'm slowly working my way around my friends and getting them watching it :) I was lucky, too, because I met four SPN fans during Fresher's week :D

Thank you!

I guess some shows just aren't for everyone - I bet if you keep trying you'll manage to convert them to something :D
