Have you tried making a weekly schedule for yourself for your classes? That usually helps me. You can figure out at the beginning of the week when your assignments are due and about how long you need to work on each one. Try to get the reading done as quick as you can in the beginning of the week so you'll have time to work on the assignments later in the week.
I've been at uni a year and sometimes it still gets to me, like time management and all that so my advice might not be brilliant but I'll try lol.
I guess I would say, how important is the reading? I don't mean to say deliberately skip it, but assignments should be first priority, if you're going to be discussing the readings in class it's best to do them the night before so they're fresh in your head, it's not exactly leaving it to the last minute, as long as you set time aside to do it.
I also recommened giving yourself weekends, or at least one day, off. Or evenings, just give yourself a cut off point, work like crazy until that point and then do whatever you want.
If you like to be organised then a strict timetable is really the best way to go, but if you're anything like me, just setting yourself a limit works fine.
Sorry for all the edits by the way, my grammar/spelling isn't good tonight
Haha, any advice is appreciated! I feel like I should be a bit more aware of what I'm meant to be doing by now!
I think that's a very good point about the readings; I've been doing some lecture reading at weekends but perhaps I'd be better leaving that for week nights.
