Harry Potter

Jul 16, 2011 20:47

Got totally distracted from pretty much everything I was meant to do this afternoon because they showed the first Harry Potter movie on tv and then followed it up with a behind the scenes documentary on the last movie so I figured I might as well do my reaction post now. There are spoilers behind the cut.

Reaction and some other stuff... )

I love the first movie - they're all so little and innocent and it's so magical :)

Yeah, I think me and my sister are going to try and go and watch it again and hopefully we'll get better fellow audience members!

The movie was definitely perfect!

Fred and George are definitely two of my favourite characters, too, and it was so sad when Fred died and the whole family was standing around his body and George was so upset and now I'm crying again!

Neville was absolutely awesome - he was such a hero and he was brilliant.

I'm going to miss it too but I guess the magic will never truly end, lol ;)

I just got back from watching DH2, and ;lsakjdf;lkjsdf;lkj so amazing I can't even. I'll have to do a reaction post sometime but for now I'll just bask in the glory that is that movie.

Haha, that's how I felt after I'd first seen it :)

I basically agree with all of this. McGonagall was brilliant, and I love Maggie Smith so much for portraying her through these years despite her own difficulties. Alan Rickman was phenomenal as well. He should get all the awards for that. He made me cry so hard.

Maggie Smith did do such a fantastic job and I'm so glad she's been able to appear in all the films despite ill health.

I think I would've picked the same things to point out if I had to write about my HP 7.2 experience. I watched it yesterday evening! *beams*

I really liked the music in this part. :)

Aww, yeah, McGonagall was awesome!!! And so was Alan Rickman, I mean... o.O And Helena Bonham-Carter as Hermione - that must've been a challenge for her. And Ralph Fiennes, seriously, best villain ever.

It was so sad when they were in the huge hall and the Weasleys (and everyone else) cried. ;__;

Haha, yeah, I really laughed when McGonagall told Seamus to blow it up. *g*
