May 21, 2011 12:40

So, as all of you know I couldn't watch it until this morning. I hadn't read any spoilers or looked at the previews so I had NO idea what to expect from these two episodes.

I'm going to attempt to be coherent in my reaction but I'm still kind of processing it all so some of what comes out may not make total sense.

Also, I'm wearing my Supernatural t- ( Read more... )

Eeeee. I'm glad you liked them both, too :)

I thought the acting was just brilliant by everyone. Jensen and Jared and Misha and Jim and Cindy and Mark and Sebastian and...I'll stop now :)

This next hellatus is going to kill me :D

Yeah, I'll definitely be rewatching at least seasons 2 and 3 with my friends. (Only me and one girl are up to date - the rest have just finished season one!) So that should be fun.

And yeah, writing fic :) I'm woring on a schmoopy J2 now :)

I preferred 6.21 to 6.22.

But I have a very specific problem with 6.21 - Dean basically had Cas mind-rape Lisa and Ben. The rest of the episode was enjoyable, but that made me go :/ And it didn't solve anything. They might not remember, but demons like Crowley still do, so I don't see what it solved.

6.22 I'm still in shock over, really.

I do kind of get what you mean about what Dean did in 6x21. But, on the other hand, I get that he did it for the right reasons - to try and spare them pain. I'm not sure about whether demons etc would still go after him. Wiping their memories was him cutting his ties with them and saying goodbye - kind of making it clear to the demons that they can't use them as leverage anymore. I don't know, that's just the way I see it.

I'm in shock, too. A good kind of shock, though, I think.

For me, it's about choice and consent. He violated them. Plain and simple. His intentions don't matter.

And demons aren't going to know they don't remember, so yeah. I thought it was a ridiculous cop-out on the part of the writers.

I'm really interested in where they go in S7. I think there's a lot of possibilities, and although I am leery about what they did/are going to do with Cas, I can't wait :D

First of all: *cries* Balthazar is dead!! *wails even more*

I loved Crowley and his survival may have potential for the next season. Castiel really freaked me out. I doubt he'll be as willing to heal Sam now as he was when he promised it. The scene were he killed Raphael reminded me so much of Lucifer - which in this case is not a good thing. I really worry about him. He's obviously changed completely and unfortunately, might actually be the next big bad.

I'm scared of season 7.

I know :( It really is a shame - there seems to already be a bit of a campaign going on to get him back, though, even by Seb Roche himself so you never know :D

I'm glad Crowley survived, too - it'll certainly make it interesting and there's potential there for some Crowley vs Castiel stuff as well as Crowley vs Sam and Dean.

I think that scene where he killed Raphael was intentionally done to be reminiscent of Lucifer - the way he killed her/him was the same way Cas was killed in Swan Song.

I honestly have no idea what they're going to do next with Castiel.

Haha, I'm excited for it. It should be really interesting.
