Yesterday wasn't very productive. I set out to do lots of holiday prep but ended up sitting outside for half of the day re-reading Harry Potter. Hmmm. Anyway, it means I'm going to have to try and get a lot done today. I still need to decide what books I'm taking and look for some gloves (believe it or not, there's snow forecast for the week we're ( Read more... )

Meant to email you, got busy. I'll be starting on the BB this weekend, probably. I'll do that color thing you wanted. Do you use google documents, by any chance? because that would be an easy way to comment back and forth on stuff.

Summaries are so difficult to write but so important at the same time! I know if I don't like the summary of a fic, there aren't many chance of me reading it even if it has been recced all over the place. I'm weird that way.

About your laptop: an IT guy once told me it was better to choose a smaller screen because it doesn't ask too much of your computer (if that makes sense, sorry, I can't seem to find my words today).

Good luck! =)

That's exactly the problem! Especially when this one is meant to attract an artist :)

Thanks for the advice!

I am going to cry my eyes out at DH2. I just know it. I already bawled during DH1 -- how am I supposed to be taking in it all ending? u__u
I hope HP will be out on DVD in Finland soon, too. I want to see it again.

And I love Fred and George! ♥ And the sometimes very subtle way in which they're funny. And I know what you mean - I'm definitely picking up more in the books now that I'm older than when I was just a kid reading them.

I have no idea what spoilers you're talking about. Lalala

You'll figure out your perfect summary, I'm sure! Don't tell too much, though. Some authors have a bad habit of you know, writing the whole plot in the few sentences they call summary. But I'm sure you wouldn't do that anyway. ^__^

I just bawled my eyes out to DH1 again!

That's exactly what I've noticed about Fred and George - I love them even more now that I've re-read it.

Thanks :) Exactly - after spending so much time writing it's hard to write a summary that does it justice.

Haha, it's certainly a lot more fun!

The last book actually made me realize how much I love Fred and George and I'm already scared about the last movie, because I'm gonna be a blubbering mess during that scene :( The book already made me wail about so much, I can only imagine how the movie will. And I definitely going to go see it in theatre, so I'm so going to embarrass myself x)

The last book did the same for me. Plus, as I'm re-reading I'm liking them even more. Just the fact that George gets left behind and Fred dies :(
