Are you moving away for uni? I regret staying at home even though it meant no student loans. Birthdays are fun :) mine's not 'til May but I am looking forward to it - it's on a Sunday so I have booked the weekend off work and then the weekend after I'm going away to Yorkshire with my family for a week. I'll be 22, which in itself is a ridiculous idea!
Nope, I'm staying at home. It is helpful in terms of money but I kind of always wanted to anyway. I'm not an overly adventurous person and I'm really close to my family and I'd hate to leave Kizzie and stuff. Plus, Newcastle is an awesome city to study in anyway :)
Sounds like you're going to have fun in May!
*sends you thoughts of Dean to get you through work*
At least you don't have the stress of settling down somewhere new, dealing with flatmates... ;) Thoughts of Dean! Thank you. <3 Although daydreaming about Dean always distracts me too much. Hehe. Back to work, speak later.
Btw you should do the 'hell' survey thing I posted on my profile. I am going deep into hell, Meg!
Freshers week will start on the Monday because most students will be moving in during the weekend. You'll get the dates and times anyway or you might be able to check their website. I know Sheffield has term dates years in advance. Try and go to any events since it might be fun (I never went to any).
I've went for Combined Honours in English Literature and History - it's an AAA course but my offer is BBB because of the scheme.
That's what I was hoping :) I'm going to try and take part as much as I can - I think that, with living at home and not at halls, I'm going to have to be more proactive in terms of getting out there to make friends.
Basically, I get the lower offer but have to pass a summer school. I'll be in lectures and stuff for two weeks over the holidays and then have to hand in a piece of work to be assessed. So, on one hand my friends will al; be relaxing while I'm working but, on the other, I get to meet people who will be on my course and get to know the uni before September.
Well, I'm usually really bad about going out and socialising so I'm going to make an effort to change...I think starting university is a good time to start trying to be more confident :)
Luckily, I don't have to worry about the accomodation side of it :) Eeeek...I'm trying not to think about how close the exams are! It's so scary.
Haha, Easter should be fun :) Not sure when I'm going to find the time to revise but I guess I'm going to have to! Are you doing anything over the holidays?
Haha, I love leather jackets XD I can't wear mine until my birthday, though, lol!

Yep :) I'm just a bit worried that my Mum's going to spend too much on me when she doesn't have it to spend :(

What course did you decide on?
