LOL! When I read the first caption for the tweet I asked myself, "Isn't Elie Wiesel dead?".

I guess he was afraid of offending Muslims if he actually stopped by Auschwitz seeing as they are mostly Holocaust deniers.

I'm glad he didn't go. It would have been just a mockery and disgrace.

As to the recycled photo, it's no shock. I'm sure he (or whoever in the regime who's responsible for choosing/posting it) figured no one would notice. We're all stupid, dontcha know?
