Maureen

[continued from here]There was a man who had met a girl. The party had been interesting and he'd learned about the society he had found himself in, but in the end it came down to the girl. The man walked her home and paused at her doorstep, the very picture of a gentleman. He didn't push, not even for a kiss. He simply made polite conversation and ( Read more... )

He probably already suspected it, but the girl was putty in his hands.

Maureen probably should have recognized that he was saying and doing all right things, which was in itself suspicious, but it had been so long since a man had been like this with her that was just eating it up. She regaled him with tales of New York, and told him about the musicals she'd starred in here on the island. He'd seemed genuinely interested, and there were a few times when she'd caught him checking her out that.

When he took her hands, she took a step backward and pulled him through the doorway. "I don't have anything to drink," she said softly, "but you should come in anyway."

"I'd love to," Patrick agreed, taking the lead and escorting her to the door. He did let her open it since it was her home, but as soon as they were inside, he closed it and then turned that seductive smile on her again.

"And now that I've got you alone..." he purred, moving closer and closer until he had her in his arms and was kissing her again. This time it wasn't nearly as sweet. This time his intentions were clear. He took the lead and claimed her lips.

Maureen moaned into the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him back with interest. He didn't kiss at all like Jack - it was a little less smooth and a little more possessive. He kissed like he wanted her and like he intended to have her, and that was something that she very much responded to right now.

He moved his hands over the smooth, soft skin of her back where the dress left her bare. He was slow. Methodical. He pushed her back a little, holding her and supporting her and doing everything he could to take her breath away before he broke the kiss.

"So glad you asked me in," he grinned. "You've got a nice place."

Maureen couldn't remember the last time she'd woken up with a man. It was the scent that caught her first as she slowly woke, salty skin and aftershave and sex. She sighed softly and snuggled up against Patrick before opening her eyes... and saw that he was looking down at her.

She let out a soft, surprised laugh. "Were you watching me sleep?" she teased. "You could have woken me."

"You looked so peaceful," he replied, reaching over to stroke her cheek. "Did you sleep well? You looked like you were sleeping well."

Maureen smiled and shifted her body a touch so that she could run her foot up his calf.

"I did," she said. "I bet you did, too - I told you it's better than the crash room. I've been on this island for four years, long enough to get a real bed."

"It was nice," he agreed. The bed was so much better than the piece of crap he'd been sleeping on...which was better than some things he'd slept on. That month in a tree...that had sucked.

"So...what do you do in the morning? I'd be showering now, but it doesn't look like you have a bathroom. Too bad, really. I'd love to wash your back for you."
