Your blog looks nice, even so it would be far better if you’ll be able to use lighter colors too as a professional design. This will make sure that a lot more readers come to check it out.Informative post by the way!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback, but this blog is really more of a personal creation as a means of connecting with others in very specific writing communities. While it is my hope to make new friends along the way, I am not very concerned with accumulating a high number of readers, and would in fact prefer to keep most of my entries friends-locked. :) I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to drop some suggestions, however! That was very helpful of you, and I promise that if I ever choose to keep a decidedly public blog in the future, I'll be sure to keep your advice in mind.
Hey, just wanted to stop by & say I love your Tahnorra fics. I just got an LJ account & I'd like to be added as friend. Umm... I hope that didn't come off as stalker-ish.
Ahaha, not at all! :) Unfortunately, I haven't been quite as active here over the last month or so because I've been so busy... but I'll be back soon!!
Lovely! As of late, I've really been spending a lot more time on tumblr, but I really want to change that. I'm going to make an effort to post regular snippets and excerpts and teasers and musings here, so you're in for a treat! ;)
haha thanks for the shout-out! (honestly I did talk far too much in my post and there's the fact that it's f-locked so only a few people can see it which I suppose makes it pointless for random passerby but w/e)
re: Upstate NY - I have family in the Buffalo region and some friends from Poughkeepsie, but beyond an aunt living in NYC that's as far as my relationship with the state goes! Philly is so close but so far, I need to take a day trip one day...
Upstate New York is absolutely beautiful, but I think it's much better left for day trips and long weekends than actual "hey, I want to live there" plans. (I always say that it was a great place to grow up, and an even better place to leave.)
But if you're ever up in Boston, we'll get tea. ;)
