We're all kind of caught between detachment, worry, and a strange sense of safety. I'm in Osaka, very far from the epicenter and surrounded by mountains, so there isn't really a threat of tsunamis here. We felt the earthquake, but that was about it. We kinda torture ourselves by discussing where we might be taken if they evacuate us

I hope you will continue to be safe. Thats really scary! I'm in Korea right now, but nothing has come our way. A lot of people are thinking of and praying for everyone in Japan!

Hopefully nothing happens. But I hear that with quakes that big that it's quite common to get pretty big aftershocks, too. Either way, I hope you are alright.

Yeah =\ Tokyo has been getting them and is supposed to get them for a while. So far, so good here though!
