Aww, that was absolutely adorable. The two of them finally getting some happiness is wonderful to see. And yikes, whenever Mami said she wanted to turn back time to save her family... eek. We all know what that can do to you o_o
Sayaka's fate is pretty clear, and Homura will probably spend her life fighting demons and trying to reach Madoka - so I wanted to write a relatively-happy ending for Kyouko and Mami.
I'm glad you found it adorable, thank you for commenting! :)
Very nice. I'd been thinking that a Mami x Kyouko relationship could happen post-series, and you've given a pretty plausible account of how it'd be like. You've done a great job with the characterization too ^_^ I really enjoyed reading this.
And Mami wanting to play Time Crisis made me giggle. She'd totally own it. That wasn't just a random game choice on your part, was it? =)
Yeah, I was considering it after Episode 12, when I realised that Sayaka had no hope of long-term survival in any timeline where she contracted. Glad the characterization worked for you, and that you liked the fic! :)
Also, Mami was very intrigued by the machine when she walked into the arcade looking for Kyouko. (She'd totally kick ass at it.)
I started considering it after Episode 12, so I'm glad my fic made it seem plausible to you. They have the potential to be a very cute pairing, I think.

My absolute favorite, probably because I could hear myself responding that way to the situation was:
"You can look at them all you want later."
"Awesome."
It just seemed completely informal, inappropriate, blunt and just totally perfect for Kyouko. xD
Thanks for the food-for-thought, too, because I never really thought of this pairing before I read this.

I love writing informal, blunt characters, so Kyouko was very fun to write. Thank you for commenting, and I'm glad you liked that exchange! :D
