I'm still blown away by how brilliant you are, by how beautiful your prose is. How you reference everything so subtly and yet it's so painfully obvious. How you make pain and passion something to envy. I just love your pieces to bits!

I never really expected you to post something again, but you did, and I'm so glad that I've found it. I was looking for my favorite (1937, Guernica), when I found this jewel instead, and I'm just so happy that you're writing again even if it's been about two years!

This is just great, okay. You're awesome, as you always have been! ♥

Your pieces have got to be one of my dear favourites, Just the way you strip passion bare and leave it naked in your words is just so unforgettable. It was a fabulous read and I'm going to read it every time I feel like being inspired!

I originally read this on AO3 and bookmarked it, though I meant to leave a comment. Stumbling over it here reminds me how devastatingly beautiful your writing is. I could mull over the layers of metaphor and imagery for an age; I simply love the visual depth of this piece, how evocative it is. I also want to go burn all my writing in a big bonfire of inadequacy, but I suppose I'll just drool over what you accomplish with words instead.
