I just got a good raise at work, which was great (and couldn't have come at a better time). Combined with my sidework it would also mean I am now in a new tax bracket, but since I'm getting married it brings me back down to the wonderful 25% I have grown to know so well ( Read more... )

In other news it turns out that I am part of the dumbing down of america and a complete idiot because I do not believe that everybody in the world should get a college degree :)I have met a lot of idiots with degrees. I have also met a lot of really brilliant people without them. Personaly, I think the notion that everybody needs to get a degree is more responsible for dumbing down America. It floods universities with disinterested young people who are only there because they (probably mistakenly) believe that it will get them more money. They take up space and resources, and resolutely deflect all meaningful knowledge that is thrown at them ( ... )

I'm really sorry about the way he came off. He has a tendancy to come off really harsh on the interweb, but is in fact a nice guy. I swear.

I was going to offer the same sort of apology, but then I realized that I am just fucking fed up with doing that. That and I was personally insulted by what he had to say, so I just told him off instead.

yeah. There tends to be a good deal of "miscommunication" with him ever since he's become an internet only person. I'm not sure of what it is. And I'm not sure if I'm in denial about it. Cause that could very well be the case.

I just am not down with my nearly oldest friend getting bashed by someone who isn't really involved in my life that much anymore. Kind of the boo.

Oh, no worries, I didn't mean to start a fight on your journal, I forget that on the interwebs if you disagree lots of people think you are challenging them.

I don't think we are going to make it to the tiger x-mas but either way we will have to see you soon. Still don't know what we are doing for new year's eve. And I'll definitely be seeing you on the 20th, right? :D

I myself have been nursing a healthy sinus slash respiratory infection of me own since Thanksgiving...rad. I caved with the doctor as well, however the UberAntibiotics prescribed to me did NOTHING. Let's hope they work for you Peanut..fingers are crossed.
