A month or so ago, McDonald's had Littlest Pet Shop toys as the girl toy in the happy meals. I'm not certain exactly what these things are supposed to be. Armadillos in handbags is our best guess, but possibly Mexican Hairless dogs. Or chihauhaus with skin conditions ( Read more... )

I had to get a friend's daughter a present for her fifth birthday in June, and dang if I wasn't completely driven crazy trying to figure out what in the heck you're supposed to do with the LPS crap - I mean, adorable figures and accessories - or any of the other girl toys. And yet, I wanted to buy ALL OF IT. Because I'M A GIRL.

Sorry. I'm done now.

I guess I just need to have a baby girl so I can learn about all this stuff.

I doubt we'd have gone along with it like this if it weren't for the whole Gilly Pig thing. She does know how to be disarmingly cute.

That's why I spelled it out the first time :)

I really hope it doesn't become a religion. They're totally ugly.
