You know, I really shouldn't be annoyed at having to wait a week to watch Serenity after finishing Firefly since all the original fans had to wait years, but, well, I am ( Read more... )

The movie was pretty good. I think we watched the entire series 3 times in the few months before the mvoie came out. Are you seeing it in the theater or is it coming out on DVD soon? We saw it on opening night with a group of our friends.

It's coming out on DVD on the 20th. I didn't make an effort to see it in the theater because I wanted to watch the TV show first.

I keep meaning to reply to you but all the threads of my universe seem to be wrapping me in a web of insanity. Ah how I love the holidays. Anyway, I don't remember what days you said you were going to be in town, but I am sure that we will be able to find a day to let our monkeys run wild together. We don't have a lot of set in stone things to do, so let me know when you'll be around and we will see what works for both of us.

Did he say "pool party" or "misogi party?"

In case it was the latter, I suggest you bring a towel. :)

Well, I will be bringing a towel regardless, but yes, it is a *pool* party.

OK, then. :)

Anyway, I was thinking about the increase in headachey stuff - we've decided jnork's dizziness/vomiting thing was most likely a variety of migraine, it responded to the Raw Beef treatment much the same way mine does.

Anyway, if everyone you know with migraine-like activity lives around here, maybe it's a precurser of some tectonic activity - I've read in the past that people with migraines report a surge in frequency of headaches before significant earthquake events.

I know *mine* was really weird - _three_ consecutive occurances of the scotoma, start to finish. That has never happened before.

I'll be watching the cats.

Ah, so that's what your earthquake comment was referring to. I've forwarded you an interesting email I received the other day...

Two of the 5 were in New England, and another is in Seattle, so if all are earthquake related, we're in for a hell of a ride :)
