Ah, the joys of having a two year old. Leif took a long, late nap and refused to eat dinner. Then he woke up and fed his mashed potatoes to his stuffed kitty. He still hasn't actuallly eaten anything himself ( Read more... )

He said "Ma, eat!" I looked up and saw him shoving the cat's face into the bowl. His other stuffed cat has suspicious crusties on its face, too.

Dude, that was the BEST PIE EVER.

SInc eit isn't your favorite, I can understand not mentioning that part, but I dind't even miss the whipped crema.
totally AWESOME.

and it is fun to start a family tradition and hoave our OWN thanksgiving, we've never really managed that, and it is important.

Thxsgvng at Rupp house was lovely, many people (esp julie and monet; mom and marc as well of course) expressed their regret that you were unable to attend. Myself most of all.

I burned myself as well, attempting to remove a rack from an oven that i did not realize was hot. First degree all the way.

You must teach me the secrets of quinoa- I've bought a package but have no ideas on preperation.

Christmas will be the best, I am anxiously awaiting.
