Yes, I have issues

Feb 27, 2007 06:55

Okay, so it’s 5:30 in the morning and I’m awake and crying. And I know it’s foolish and I know I’m probably over-reacting, but I can’t help it. Maybe it’s the incident at hand or maybe it represents some larger issues in my subconscious that I haven’t yet come to terms with.

So it goes like this: when I converse with people in RL, I have a tendency ( Read more... )

my dysfunctional family, the jenni formerly known as my niece

As I just told you on IM, reading this...with as much as I love your mom, I have a right mind to beat up your parents. This was completely uncalled for - you don't blow up at someone over something like this - something you've NEVER MENTIONED BOTHERS YOU. And you especially don't blow up your child...I don't care if you're 2, 12, 22, or 222. People are flawed, granted, and they need to get their heads out of their respective asses and admit they over-reacted. Then they can tell you why it bothers them...but to do it like this? Yeah...I love your mom...but I'm seriously pissed that your parents made you feel this way.

And Jenni STILL hasn't defriended me. WTF is up with that??!

Yeah...have I told you lately that I don't know what I would do without you?

Well...I don't.

Thanks for being there for me!

Yeah...the Jenni thing cracks me up more and more when I think about it. I was really just bored and remembered you mentioned potential slutty pictures of her and decided to try and check them out. *giggles* I deleted her AOL email account finally just to be petty.

*snuggles* Believe me, hon...that "don't know what I'd do without you" thing is a two-way street. And I must emphasize...our door is ALWAYS open to you. I really think you need to escape more often than you do.

You can always look at Jenni's slut pictures here. Or fuck, just hack into my facebook account. holly454@missouristate.edu. You can guess what my password is. Not the standard - the new standard...

I wanna delete her, but I also wanna see how long she keeps me on her flist...maybe she forgot I'm there.

Gimme a call later.

...gooberhead. :P

Things are same old in the world of the McCoy family drama "As the Scrap Yard Turns".

But yeah...had a great time with Brandon and yeah...a few other things, but nothing really crazy.

And things with the parents are doing okay. My dad is *really* trying.

But yeah...the stormy weather this morning was just annoying. Hehehehe

Talk to ya later!

*hugs* I know that keeping something inside. It's easier to tell here then RL people.
*hugs again* I hope they'll understand your side too.

Thank you! Luckily, this drama has seemed to have ended so my family can get back to our other many problems!

And you're right, it is much easier to say things here instead of face to face in RL!

Thanks again!

Sometimes stuff like that just really cuts through you. Giving people nicknames really isn't a big deal, and it seems like their reaction was a little out of proportion. Maybe it was misplaced anger?
Anyway, I'm sorry they upset you! And I hope it all gets cleared up. But I'm the same way... when something bothers me I keep it to myself. It's just my instinct... although it rarely works out well.

*sigh* I guess it was just a whole misplaced issue in the end-my side and theirs. Luckily we were able to work things out and moved on.

But I'm the same way... when something bothers me I keep it to myself. It's just my instinct... although it rarely works out well.

Nope, I agree. It never works out well. Whenever I finally sit down with a therapist, they're going to have a field day with everything that I have kept inside!

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry!! If something like that happened to me, it would kill me! I hope you were able to tell your family how you feel--being forthright with people is a hard lesson to learn (heh--one I'm still learning over and over again), but in the end your sanity will thank you for it. And in the meantime, I'm glad you have awesome people like our Holly to vent with. :)

...and for the record, I've got like 10 years on you, and I call people things like dorkwad, goober, and doofus all the time. *nodnod*

Thank you! Yeah...this round of drama has gone away and now my family is just left with all of the other issues we have.

And yes, Holly is a godsend! I really don't know what I would do without her.

And thanks dorkwad for caring! *giggles*
