well it's five in the morning, and I just slept through work for the second friday in a row. I have a feeling that I might not have a job next week.

well...by some means I got into the honors ensemble. apparently the only thing that saved me was my sightreading...which I thougth I bombed. I am one of four guitarists, and I think that the deciding factor may have been that there was no male vocalist auditioning. Somehow, my bass player, David Tarantino, did'nt get in. It's been a long while. I had my spring break/vacation from work. It was largely uneventful. James came down and we kinda just jammed and were bored for a couple days. It was a bit depressing. Somehow I continually manage to set myself up for terrible disappointment. I'd say one of my major character flaws is my inability to give up--I don't know when to quit. That said, I can't let go of this false hope. Maybe the only way for me to be happy is to come to terms with the idea that I won't.
