That was, indeed, a whole lot of awesome going out in one week. I feel like we're in some sort of awesome debt now, and we all need to be Ever More Awesome to try to make up for it.
Hosticle_fifer, I've enjoyed the hell out of your entries this season. Your humor is great, and you have a really deft hand for fiction. The entry you're going out on is one of my favorites, and I'm sorry to see you go.
And as for kickthehobbit, well, shit. I don't even know what to say. I'm glad, in my own way, that you're relieved about going out. It takes the edge off the sad. So does the fact that I made a really great friend in you over these many months. Look forward to some chocolate in your near future.
Thanks man. I feel like I have to work a lot harder to not make fiction sound hackey and forced, my nonfiction beer-stories come a lot more easily, so a good rating going to the fiction I spooled out I consider a major win!
