Tradition and rebellion are warring in me today. I wore my pretty butterfly dress topped with a frilly grey sweater to work, but I am wearing green sneakers with it rather than fancy dressy shoes.
I'm still hard-wired after all these years to dress up to please Mom, even though she's been gone for three and a half years, but I can't give in completely... hence the footwear.
Oh, well. At least I'm comfortable. And I am having fun looking out my front window at the EXTRAORDINARY AND FEARSOME HATS that the ladies are wearing to services at the storefront church across the street.
The Brevard Fault Zone goes through Rosman, NC which isn't too far from where I live. I'm fascinated by geology so it's mainly an excuse to go out and look at rocks. But, like I said, my tires are getting bald so I visited the prickly pear instead. It's pretty frostbitten right now, but it should perk up over the summer.
Yesterday I tried to play a game online and it took over my Firefox settings and f'd up EVERYTHING, and I finally resset firefox, but now I have ads on websites where I have never had ads before. It's like all the websites changed at the same time, which means it's probably me. And I want to put it back!!!!
I am currently flitting between playing Assassin's Creed: Revelations, reading 1Q84, and trying to find the cheapest hostels and B&B's for a holiday I'm planning in the summer.
My chocolate quota for today came from some chocolate porridge - that's the same as an Easter Egg, right?
Just like Easter Egg... no, I can't lie to you. It tastes just like chocolate cake... no. Still fibbing.
It is nice though. Just make regular porridge with milk, and once it's cooked stir in a big tablespoon of nutella or whatever brand of chocolate spread you have and enjoy!

Nothing special going on here today. Work, eat, shower, an episode or two of BABYLON 5, and sleep.
Best of luck to abigailendersby.

I was going to go on a quest for a fault line today, but I need new tires on my car. I'll visit the prickly pear on top of a mountain instead.
