Awhile ago I asked the current contestants if they would mind if I posted a few fairly off the top of my head comments about each of them. They said that would be ok. I almost did it at 7, then 5, but I didn't want to space any of them out around a vote. . . so now seemed like as good of a time as any

I can't say I've gotten to know chite all that well, but one of the things I've admired about her is her ability to stay out of the drama that's cropped up during the game. She's been consistently friendly to everyone, a fair player and an all-around good sport. If she ends up taking the top honor, I don't think there's a single person who's going to complain.

Ditto what she said on all counts. It kind of sucks that I haven't gotten the chance to know chite at all really, but I definitely enjoy her writing.

I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about her either. She's just cool. I felt like she was a threat all along. She never did horrible in the voting, and she just kept being there every week so I was always watching, still am.

I've actually gotten to know a lot about Chite. She's a sweetheart, and so is the rest of her family. Kitties included!

I first started paying attention to chite the week of the "terror" topic. It was the first post of hers I read and I've been hooked ever since.

chite, I really wanted to vote for your "My Hero" entry last time. When I discovered that out of the three entries the contestants wrote, only one of them was up for voting, I was gutted.

The question is: what kind of ice cream were you eating!? Vanilla? Much easier to get out, though insidious, as you could miss a spot. Chocolate? At least you can see the stain. Strawberry? Well that depends on if you're wearing pink. As we know, I wear a lot of pink :)

I'm glad you liked the My Hero entry! It really came down to that and the one I chose. In the end I went with the one that got the fastest, most positive response. But it was hard to pick.

Okok. I lied. It wasn't really an ice cream cone. It was coffee. I was going for the sympathy effect. Dropping ice cream cones pulls at so many more heart strings than "...made me drop my hot triple grande white chocolate mocha, stirred", you know?
