Green Room - Week 15 - Day 2
Morning.
Probably best that I don't have more time this morning all things considered.
We have a new topic and one of the first fiction writing prompts (I've had a couple non-fiction ones that fell more into the "abstract" category, but this is one without a doubt) in Idol history. Going to be interesting to see how people fit this into actually saying something about who they are or if they decide to go with "But I sometimes post fiction in my journal!" reasoning.
Because yeah, some people DO post fiction in their journal. Sometimes people decide to write about "blue" or "gun tree go!" It's the day to day things, and the things we don't want to say that in the end are the most interesting.
Which is why I tend to like topics, even when other people whine about them. It's the stuff that may have been said before, the stuff that "no one wants to read about" that's the most difficult getting other people to relate to, it's the real challenge to make readable, to make interesting.
That said, the fiction prompt seemed to have received a lot of positive response and interest. So it's going to be interesting to see how people react to that when deciding who they want to see get closer to being in the top 50.
