Welcome back! It has felt awfully quiet around here with you away. I feel like it's been almost a week since I got my votes in, too, so that's made things feel extra quiet I think.
I built a LEGO T-Rex! And otherwise I've been watching Cowboy Bebop with my 15yo, and reading Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I think those are the main things I've been up to that haven't been work.
I'm probably not going to get the chance to read and vote this round, my life is as crazy as everyone else's seems to be - two major grants due Monday so not much else going on here. Can't wait for the chance to do some more fun writing after all this.
Medicated, finally. It took me a while to get my medications, especially since I lost my health insurance recently. Now that I've got my ADHD meds back, I might be able to go ahead and read some entries.
So I thought we had to have our votes in by LAST Friday so I was on the ball 😂 I was so confused when Friday came and went and there was nothing. But then I double checked the date and realized it was my mistake. But at least I got my votes in!
I’ve been good. Just busy. I’m really tired of radiation every day but I’m 1/3 of the way through. I’m also coaching a writer for my client because she wants him to write more like me. What a compliment lol my books are being translated into other languages, German first and then French. Apparently the German translator loved them, so yay! Knowing that my client uses my book to train others how to write successful books has really made me feel good about myself. I’ve struggled with imposter syndrome for years, but I think this makes me more confident in myself and my ability to write/publish for myself.

I've been reading entries in between the insanity that has been work. I haven't had time to comment but I will, even if it's after I vote.
2 more weeks of full time work. I'm going to be doing 10 hours monitoring the agency's database and helping with transition to the new one when it goes live. So that'll keep me busy but I won't have to deal with the crapfest that is my job now.
