I am so sorry. Obviously, since I've been around for a few seasons my self I knew mac_arthur_park. This is so sad. So, so sad.

She will be missed so much.

Oh NO. NONONO. I had seen her post on FB and was worried because she hadn't posted any update. I can't believe it. Alicia was such an incredibly gifted person with such an indomitable spirit. I am so so sorry.

Oh wow, that is so sad. I didn’t know her well, but I really enjoyed her writing this season.

I was just reading through our email exchanges and I was struck by something unexpected. Again, Alicia signed up in 2011 and has been in EVERY season and mini season since then - there wasn't a single email complaining about ANYTHING.

Which has got to be an Idol record of some kind. :)
