We all know that bleodswean threw herself on the sword. Which is tragic. There is a part of me that understands it, and another part that honestly thought that this could be her season to win

It has been a Wild Ride my second go-around in Idol Land. I am honored to have gotten the chance to write alongside all of you incredible writers all these weeks. I am humbled I made it this far with my poetry. I am very grateful for all of you who read and commented. This past year has been a doozy for me personally, and then collectively . Many of these poems felt risky to release into the wild because they sprouted from vulnerable places; so I am relieved they found kind and thoughtful readers. I have to admit it doesn't feel as lonely to be heading out this week alongside one of my favorite writers, bleodswean, even though it shocked me to see her have to go. I am looking forward to seeing what our remaining contestants come up with for the rest of the season. It truly looks like anyone's game this time around. Good luck!
