I just saw those Florida numbers, congrats at beating NY! You win the right to be afraid to leave your house!
I’m being silly, but truthfully it’s pretty scary.
As for idol, if I can be an almost fifty year old playing idol, you can be an almost fifty year old running it! Although that’s not completely fair since I’ve only really played about 5 times and you’ve run about 11 of them.
I realize we have newbies this season but it has kindof felt like an All Stars type season. At least to me.
Heh. I’m 52 and I’ve been competing since season 4, IIRC - so 8 seasons plus several mini seasons (I forget how many) for me! Does that qualify me for All Star / Legend status, or just mean I’m Stubborn as hell?
Florida #1! Go Floridians! That means that California is not #!. Who knows, with a real effort by the anti-maskers we may yet make it. I wonder if there will be any political fallout in the early open states.
You have put an immense amount of time and effort into Idol, and you have touched so many lives, including mine. Whatever you do in the future, when you look back on Idol, you should be proud of yourself.

11 regular seasons. 4 mini seasons. 2 seasons for kids.
But yeah, early on the last couple of seasons/mini seasons have had a very "all star" feel to them. Which has been awesome.
