My daughter's company actually gave today as a paid holiday off. Yay for many reasons! I am sorry I have been such an idle Idol slacker these past few weeks! Too busy babysitting.
I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, and was about to say this to them - but it's better to share it with everyone at once.
The biggest surprise me to over this second half of the season is the number of "old LJers" who have shown back up to vote. At this point in any given season there are always a lot of former Idol players who show up to see what's going on. But I'm talking about people who set up accounts in 2005 and 2006 and who have been sporadically active over the last couple of years based on their updates.
They are checking in. I hope they decide to stick around, not only here but on LJ in general!

I can think of a number "old" LJ Idolers that I wish we saw more of around here (some not so old, even). :D
