Good morning GR! I spent most of yesterday at work playing with ways to repurpose a lot of our ingredients, which to me says that our self serves aren't reopening anytime soon. Not surprising but I give my employer credit for not wanting to lay anyone off unless there's no other choice.
Recommendations for a "soft reopening" here is 5/18. Our governor has already said it's going to be extremely limited which I think is a good thing because we have no idea which way this virus is going to go.
An early re-opening worries me. What also worries me is that a certain level of cases/deaths becomes background noise and it becomes the "new normal." At least until it hits someone you know and love. I'm full of worries this morning. Time to get back to reading entries.
Here they are staggering reopening by county. More than half the state is in yellow phase, meaning more things can open with distancing, but lots of stuff is still closed. My county is still in the red, so still stay at home here.
My worries go in both directions. I’m worried about opening too soon and more people getting sick. And not opening soon enough and running out of money. I’m good until the end of June at the moment.
