I’m hoping to finish mine tomorrow. It’s just taking me longer than I thought, and I’m afraid it’ll be too long. Need to find a way to shorten it up or I’ll not make the deadline.
I’ve not been in the best headspace today. I’ve been very bored and antsy. I’m not someone who can handle being stuck indoors all the time. Binging tv or movies gets boring after awhile. I need a hobby, but it’s hard with my current situation. And yeah, I mean a non-writing hobby, sorry. But when I write all day for work, I kinda need to keep my hands busy with something else. Just don’t know what yet :(
Maybe, but I can’t afford anything right now, which makes it hard. I need to get rid of my apartment in California so I can actually have hobbies or take classes again, it seems.
Just saw this on the weather channel, there's a guy who's going out picking up garbage in park-like areas. He's properly equipped with garbage pickers, gloves, and garbage bags and that's how he's spending Covid-19.
We also splurged on take out this evening. We're doing take out once or twice a week from locally owned family businesses. They're always really happy when we come in, as many in their families are now unemployed.
When driving home, we passed Chick Fil A, and the line for the drive through was down the street. It made me sad.
Hoping to write something this evening. My schedule has been really busy, so I haven't really had much free time.
My current position at work is dead in the water. We're a luxury and a convenience. Plus because we have a mandate on how many people can be in the store, you have to first wait in line to go inside, then you have to wait again to get to a register. They either day the police were around. Our night mgr had to escort a customer out with a "don't come back" because he was verbally harassing a coworker. Most people are respectful and pleasant, however. That makes everything much easier.
