Thank you so much, Gary and yes, submissions from anywhere in the world: poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art, science and math that look like art (yes I have one of those coming in), photography- basically anything inspired by the time of the COVID19 social distancing/quarantine period.

Your project sounds so interesting! I think it's wonderful for these unhappy times. Do you take stories that have previously appeared in LJ Idol, or must they be original? There are so many talented writers here, and another outlet would be great. How do people post/submit entries?
Thank you!! I would really like to see things that were written or created during this period, so generally speaking if it was during the North American quarantine/social distancing period or your own country’s quarantine period, it’ll work for the general idea of “what people think of when in a period of isolation/semi-isolation/uncertainty/etc.
Thanks you for those good questions, rayaso. There were a lot of great entries this last week inspired by the pandemic, and even some that didn't make it into the competition, but just to people's own pages, so they aren't "new" original works (as in, from this moment forward), but they are most definitely related.
For those following along - one of those who were unable to get THE test ended up taking A test. She has viral and bacterial pneumonia but it doesn't look like coronavirus. Still haven't heard anything about the other two.
