Oh no, I didn't hear about Amazing Race!!!! I did hear that Big Brother casting is now by videotape only, no in-person interviews.
In non-TV news, all the dental conventions that I go to for my job are being cancelled, which is scary just in the fact that I would like to have a job when this is all done, but we're a really small company so I don't know.
At least I have Idol, until I get voted out, which hopefully is not next week!
Well I’m currently stuck in France, waiting on news about how/when I’ll return. I was originally supposed to fly back on the 29th, but who knows? My flight hasn’t cancelled yet. I know they’re going to let Americans back in, just not sure what the protocol will be.
I was originally flying back, going to a visa appointment, and then moving my niece before moving myself to France. But obviously, all of that could change. But Macron’s speech today gave me hope and reminded me that I’m moving to a better place. I’d personally rather be here in France if I did get sick since I don’t have health insurance back home, and I’m one of those compromised individuals folks seem to think are okay to die.
Our school is shutting down for 3 weeks. Workers report next Wed and Thurs to do planning. Next we have our normally scheduled spring break. Week 3 workers report M-F as usual but no students. WTF?
Probably because students/kids are very good at sneezing on surfaces and touching everything, and touching their faces? And since they'd be very very good at carrying/spreading, at least having fewer people in one spot, and having those people be people who can maybe handle not touching their face as much, would be better? This is based on things I've heard around here.
Our schools are shut down through April 24, it'll be a total of 6 weeks at that point.
